Hello my name is Graham Bristow and I am the owner and head guide for Georgian Bay Musky Charters and Anglers Pro Shop. I’ve been lucky over the years to have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best Georgian Bay anglers around. My family and friends have been fishing Georgian Bay for for pike, walleye, bass and musky for over 45 years. I was first taught how to fish Georgian Bay by my father and uncle when I was only 13 years old. I am now 38 and more dedicated to the sport of fishing and the environment around me then ever before. All together I have been fishing the eastern central Georgian Bay shoreline for over 25 years for multiple fish species with the last 15 years primarily targeting trophy musky and the last 8 years as a full time professional musky guide. I have many great accomplishments over the years including my personal best 57" x 28" musky, and days of 2 and 3 musky over 50" per day on Georgian Bay. But even with these accomplishments to my name the things I'm most proud of is the hundreds of personal best muskies I've helped my friends, family and customers catch.
After years of fishing the Moon River Basin and Georgian Bay, I have discovered some of the most productive patterns and area's to consistently find trophy sized musky and pike. We see an average of 3 to 6 musky over 20lbs every day and have seen as many as 21 musky in one day.
As a member of Muskies Canada, O.F.A.H. and Trout Unlimited and a number of other local sport fishing and conservation groups I am committed to Catch and Release and the conservation of our fisheries. I take pride in teaching safe methods of proper catch and release and make sure this is done with every fish to ensure that future musky populations remain healthy. Although many anglers are happy to catch muskies of any size, my ongoing pursuit of a new world record musky means I primarily fish for trophy sized musky using very unique specialized methods in the areas capable of producing world record muskies. This is why I call Georgian Bay my home waters.
Rich McCabe:
Rich is a avid angler who has been perfecting his musky skills on Georgian Bay for the last 12 years. Rich is not only great guy to be in the boat with but has proven himself a worthy guide and great trophy musky hunter. Rich started fishing Georgian Bay with me on our annual May 24th fishing tournaments and since then we have become great friends and have spent hundreds of hours every year chasing musky and pike around the Bay. Together Rich and I have hunted and arguably caught more and bigger musky and pike on the bay then any other pair of anglers. Rich and I work as a team to provide customers of Georgian Bay Musky Charters with great service and the best chance at trophy muskies on the Bay. Welcome aboard Richy..
